Rat-U-Thit Road Patong Beach Phuket

One of the biggest, longest and busiest roads in Patong, is Rat-U-Thit Road. This road runs strait through the middle of the nightlife action of Patong and it also joins onto Bangla Road which is Phuket's main nightlife area.
The popular nightclubs, Tai Pan, Baya Beach, Margareta and Rock City are located on Rat-U-Thit Road, so you are spoilt for choice for nightlife. There are also many small bars which are located up and down the road, with many of these located near Bangla Road.

From one end of the road to the other are many hotels and guest houses to stay in and it’s not hard to find a bargain here. There are small hotels and guest houses on Rat-U-Thit that are mostly guest friendly which is great for single males who bring women back to their rooms and love the nightlife.
If you do like to party, then staying right in the middle of Rat-U-Thit Road is one of the best places that you could possibly stay at in Patong, as the nightlife is just seconds away.
There are quite a few hotels and guest houses that cater for different kinds of tourists: There are hotels for single strait males, gay people and also for different nationalities. The hotels that cater for different nationalities usually have expat owners of the hotels who have setup businesses in Patong who like to cater for people that are of the same nationality which is good if you don’t speak much English or Thai.



Rat-U-Thit Road also has the most places to get a massage in Patong and you can find yourself a real bargain here. The women stand out the front of these places and do their best to lure you in for a massage. Walking down certain sections of Rat-U-Thit can be a bit overwhelming; as there can be many massage parlors which are located right next door to each other and the competition for a customer is fierce.
Rat-U-Thit is also where Christians Soapy Soap Massage is located and you can’t miss this, as it is a huge pink building which stands out.
There are also places for gay people to get a massage and these are located mostly around the Paradise Complex area of Rat-U-Thit.

Patong Beach is only a short 5 minute walk away from any part of Rat-U-Thit Road, so walking to the beach is always nice and convenient.

The biggest shopping complex – Jungceylon is located on Rat-U-Thit Road and also the OTOP markets and many other smaller markets and stalls, so there is plenty of shopping available on this road. Unfortunately, there are tailor shops located throughout the road too, so you may want to cross the road before you walk past one of these, unless of course you are looking for a budget suit from an annoying salesman.

There are many nice restaurants which are located all along Rat-U-Thit and you really are spoilt for choice for a good variety of food. There are many seafood restaurants and most of them have the fresh seafood out the front on display. The popular restaurant Number 6 is located on Rat-U-Thit and so is PS restaurant which are favorite places to eat on this road. Towards the northern end of the road is where the popular – Nicky’s Handle Bar is located which also serves up some decent food.
