Bangla Road Patong Information
The most famous strip of road in Phuket is Bangla Road, which is located in the heart of Patong. This stretch or road is home to many bars, nightclubs, pubs, live music venues and places to have a drink.During the day time, Bangla Road is a busy street with lots of traffic, bars open early in the afternoon, shops, stores, tailor shops with annoying tailors and massage parlours all open for business.
When night time approaches, the barricades come out to block off both ends of the road and no cars enter as the road becomes a walking street all night for the tourists and party people.
The partying doesn't stop here until the sun comes up, then its back to daytime business as usual.
The road has mini streets coming off it known as Soi's. These Soi's are absolutely jam packed with bars and most of them are beer bars with many bar girls working in them all competing for customers.
If you are a male walking into some of these bars for the first time, you will think you are in a dream fantasy land as you are surrounded by beautiful Thai women who seem interested in every word you say.
The nightclubs at Bangla Road are also a paradise for men, as they are full of beautiful Thai woman and most are not shy to approach you, which can be a welcoming surprise for what any westerner is used to.

Bangla Road Soi's
Happy Road: The popular nightclub Seduction is located here, as well as go go bars, an ice bar, and some beer bars. The Soi leads into a bunch of restaurants at one end and these restaurants are open all night until the early hours of the morning.
Soi Tiger: A popular Soi which is just down from Happy Road. This is where Tiger Bar and nightclub are located. The nightclub is also known as Tiger Disco or Discotheque. On the other side of the Soi, are a number of small beer bars which join onto Happy Road.
Soi Patong Resort: A less popular area, with a few bars, some massage places, and some guest houses and hotels. The Soi leads to - Patong Beach Resort.
Soi Viking: (Bangla Square): Similar to Soi Patong, with a few lesser known bars and some hotels and shops. Just like Soi Patong Resort, this Soi is not one of the most popular areas of Bangla Road.

Soi Sea Dragon: A large Soi that has many small beer bars in the middle and a walkway that goes all the way around the outside of them. There are also bars here that display ping pong shows. This Soi has had a full facelift in recent times and is the biggest and brightest Soi in Bangla Road.
Soi Eric: There are many small beer bars located in this Soi which are all located right next to each other. Expect to be hassled by many bar girls when you walk down here. Bar Girl Guide.
Soi Crocodile: Also known as Soi Ladyboy, this area is where you will see all the ladyboys posing out the front for photos. There are some beer bars here and a popular nightclub, but this area is mostly for people interested in women who are not real women.
Soi Easy: This Soi is located directly below the ever popular Hollywood Nightclub. There are beer bars located here and just like Soi Gonzo, it is easy to miss the bars out the back if you are not looking for them.
Soi Gonzo: A Soi that runs directly through the middle and to the back of the Aussie Bar and would be easy to miss as it's covered by the Aussie Bar out the front, which is 2 stories high. There are mostly beer bars located at this Soi.
